1. Visual Summary
With so much happening around us, the one thing that all of us need in abundance is Courage. In this amazing podcast A Bit of Optimism, Simon Sinek in conversation with Guy Raz talk about courage. They explore where courage comes from & how to find it. What stayed with me was how 'Pursuit helps to find courage'. Here's my Visual Summary capturing the essence of key points.

2. Meditation Doodle
Did you know that a single extended loop, or some may call it scribble, can create a meditative experience for you? Keep creating loops and then colour the alternate portions. I mostly use Black and White & sometimes colour. Sharing both versions. The best part about this style is that every time the shape emerges, you just need to keep going & finally close the loop. I find this form very relatable to life experiences too, going with the flow, the form of our journey does emerge somewhere & the loop does close somewhere. Try it out and experience the magic of this form of Meditation Doodle.
3. Sketchnote - Resilience
We sometimes equate resilience with "toughness", and we fail to appreciate that many "tough" materials are brittle. Truly resilient materials are sufficiently elastic to allow them to absorb a blow, deform under pressure and return to normal. - Ed Batista.
To me this is one of the most profound definitions of Resilience, the grit to not break and the courage to Bounce back, just like an elastic.
4. Visual Prompt
Because this edition is on Resilience, our Visual Prompt is ‘Bounce’. Pick a sticky note and draw out this visual prompt. Curious to see your drawings. Feel free to add your own visual interpretation of the word. Will be happy if you tag me and mention hashtag #thinkvisuals #visualprompts
Would love to see what emerges :)
5. Got Featured
Grateful for this feature in The Featured Image. I enjoyed sharing how I find my calling in Visuals with Erik Jones. I thought of sharing this so that all of you will get to relate with my passion and deeper calling behind why I do what I do, and in some sense what led to the birth of this Newsletter :)
